Re: Other Ideas for
One of the last weddings I went to had no floral cp's. It was a few candles and mini frames with pics of the bride and groom doing different things. It was different. I will have flowers because I was born without any creative abilities whatsoever....

How are you getting the butterflies? Are you going to release them after wards or give them to a butterfly farm or maybe the Museum of Natural History will take them?

Re: Other Ideas for
At first I was going to get live ones and let them flutter around in the jars and let the glow of the candles luminate the jar w/ the butterflies....But then I realized that SOME JERK! Will let them loose inside the reception.
So I've seen these fake butterflies that look very real. And I will put them in the jar and make a lil scene or tie them to make them look like their flying or sitting on a branch inside the jar

And, even worse, what if a butterfly or two... um, doesn't make it all the way through the reception? Who knows what the lifespan of a butterfly crowded in a jar might be? Maybe I'm just morbid, but that's the first thing I thought of when I read in a magazine about a bride having mini-aquariums with fish swimming around them as centerpieces on her tables. Nothing like a fish belly up to spoil the good cheer of a wedding.
Yikes! I AM morbid this late at night. Sorry. These are just the things that go through my head.

There really are some that do look that real.
I absolutely love the idea and theme.
Do you love butterflies? Does your family make their own honey?

That'll be soo sad! lol! And my family is soooo loud they'll be like 'TONI has dead butterflies on our table that we have to look at while we eat!'
Lol!
Thats why I'm getting the fake ones!

There are butterflies that look so real its ridiculous! No Butterflies symbolize new life. So I decided to go with that. And they're very pretty.
I do not think my family makes their own honey but it's worth a check. My uncle still works on a farm so I guess we'll be getting some fresh peaches and pecans also!

I like that color scheme. My wedding is going to be in the late spring, and I want 'spring-y' colors, but haven't quite decided on what those are yet. Yellow, probably, and I'll think about those other colors you mentioned because that sounds like the look I'm going for too. thanks.

LOL FH helping me !!
No I just brain storm on my own and run it by my friends and see what they think. I'm very creative and I love to be different.
FH's creative juices will not start flowing until he proposes for real and presents me with the e ring and everyone has 2 cents to $1 to add about what we should do. But by then all the planning will be done
