Other people don't understand the planning stress

I was just telling FH how good it feels to be done and have everything paid off (except the cake tasting which is tomorrow). Right after that discussion I had two people text me and let me know they decided to bring guests after RSVPing a month ago as just 1 and with only TWO WEEKS till the wedding!! I let the one guy bring his date but I had to tell the other girl no because there really wasn't any room at the table to add another. I feel bad but whatever, what do they expect??? Now I have to tell the hall and pay more for this random add on. I guess I jinx myself lol.

Oh and to make it better I don't know if the guy was even going to tell me! A friend of mine was talking to him and he mentioned his date so she told me and I had to text him asking about it.

Wow that's insane! I would be so mad! We're not giving half the people plus ones if they aren't dating someone now I'm not paying for their flavor of the week to come so ur nicer then me ;)

That's crazy!! I wouldn't tell the hall right away, a lot of people told me you will always have a few that says they are showing up and don't. You don't want to get stuck paying extra. Our hall told us to leave a small balance for the day before just incase. People really have nerve! One of fh friends texted him about bringing a date, they are always eachothers dates to weddings. Told him he had to wait till all rsvps come in. I don't want to give him a plus one, but might have too at this rate!
