Our 9-16-01 Wedding - Long

Thank you all for your support and encouragement during a very challenging and difficult time. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and provided a much needed diversion for all of those involved. We were in Montauk for both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday Night-Crow's Nest catered a BBQ on the beach. Great time for all. Delicious food and plenty of it. My family and friends sat around a bonfire until 11PM. Sunday-Wedding Day: Ceremony at Montauk Lighthouse. Could not have asked for a more beautiful location. The staff at the lighthouse is great too. Brunch reception at Gurney's Inn...Delicious food, under a tent, overlooking the beach and ocean. Wonderful. RuthAnn, catering mgr., was fabulous. She could not do enough for us. Music- Bob Weier Trio from Stan Wiest Orchestras. Set the exact tempo of the reception that we wanted. Also provided ceremony music. Bob was great! Flowers - Strawberry Fields in Montauk. For those of you who are having an Eastern LI wedding, I cannot speak highly enough of the florist. My bouquet, centerpieces, ceremony flowers were beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Rolls Royce - A Class Act Limousine in Sayville. We rented a 1961 Silver Rolls. It was great fun to ride around Montauk in this car. My husband and I felt like royalty. I am so happy and feel so incredibly lucky to be alive and to be married to my terrific husband. I know it was a long and emotional week leading up to the wedding weekend. So many of us got married that weekend - and we were so blessed to be able to have wonderful days to remember all our lives. Much luck and happiness to the new Mr. and Mrs.
