Our (all-vegetarian!) tasting at the Swan Club! With pics!

Our tasting yesterday was DELICIOUS.

We started with a fruit plate and a salad. Didn't take pics of those because well...it's just fruit and salad.

Then FH and I split the appetizer duet that we're pretty set on choosing - a vegetable strudel with a roasted red pepper sauce:

It was soooooo good.

Following that was one of our entree choices - a roasted red pepper stuffed with mushroom rissotto:

Then there was dessert...

An ice cream eclair for me:

FH got a sundae. I was like 'a sundae? really? )

We left there STUFFED. I can only imagine how full people will be after that kind of meal PLUS our CH.

I have such confidence that the Swan Club will make people rethink that vegetarian food CAN be filling and fancy.

I love that FH and I do not have to compromise our ethical beliefs on our special day.

Kris....the Duet and main course selection sounds amazing. I don't see them listed on the menu selection, were they made for especially for you? or did SC update its menu and didn't tell me.

It's something from their full vegetarian CH/reception menu. It was great - if you're really interested in it, it can't hurt to ask them if it's something they could do for you!

I should definitely ask them, coz both the strudel and pepper look DELICIOUS!! Thanks!! Now I am hungry.
