Our anniversary...

our 8 year anniversary is tomorrow. I am so happy to be with my FH for this long. Here is the thing that makes me sad...does our septemeber 17th anniversary no longer count once we are married? I feel like we are starting from zero all over again! I am excited that we will have our wedding anniversary each april, but I dont want to forget all about september! Am I being silly here? I am really overtired! LOL

We will celebrate both...however, I should add that our wedding date will be 10 days before our ann. date...so we will always be celebrating both together!

I'm not married yet, but I thought the same thing. Our regular anniversary in September, but the wedding is in May. What will we do? We love celebrating our anniversary and going away for it each year. Me and FH actually talked about this, and we decided we will always recognize the day that brought us together, b/c if it weren't for that we wouldn't be married at all.
We just may not go away on trips for it anymore

You're exactly 1 month after us. We celebrated our 8 years on 8/17. I definately plan on celebrating both in June and August. My FI would never let us not anyway. He remembers every anniversary. A few years ago he even gave me a card and present for our 50 month anniversary. I had no idea what it was for till I read the card. He's so good.

FH says the same thing. We will be together for 9 years this June (we're getting married in July). He feels like he's 'not getting credit for time already served' and that starting from zero again a real bummer.

I think we will continue to celebrate both our anniversaries.

I THINK YOU GUYS SHOULD CELEBRATE, IT IS GOOD FOR THE RELATIONSHIP TO CELEBRATE FOR DIFFERENT OCCASSIONS.. IN THE LAST YEAR WE HAVE CELEBARTED MY ACCEPTANCE TO GRADUATE SCHOOL, OUR ENGAGEMENT, OUR OLD DATE, MY CONFIRMATION ETC..
