My mom just saw the card and made me rethink using that picture. She can't believe I would send out a picture of Lyndsey in a dress with no socks/shoes on. I don't see this as a big deal...I mean, we were at home when the pic was taken, and NO shoes will fit her feet, plus she rips socks off like there's no tomorrow. I thought the pic looked cute with her bare feet. Baby feet are cute.

Melissa, I agree with you about baby feet being adorable (and completely edible, IMO!). But, I also understand your Mom's point of view....it's just less 'formal' for Lyndsey to not have anything on her feet.

Can you cancel the order at this point, and re-take the pic? If not, I wouldn't worry about it....with a beautiful face like Lyndsey's, no one's gonna be looking at her feet anyway!

Claud, I just tried to cancel the order, but if it has already begun the processing/shipping process, it may not be able to be cancelled. I'll find out later. I guess, if I can't cancel it, it's not the end of the world. I am going to dress Lyndsey up later this afternoon WITH FRILLY SOCKS ON and attempt to take another picture for our card. Thanks for the advice!!

I think she looks adorable and didn't notice the feet till you mentioned it.

I ordered our Christmas cards and they came, but I was so excited I forgot to take out the red eye. Steve was like there is no way we are sending these, and my Mom was like you can't send these his name is Damien So I just reordered. What are you going to do

Most people wouldn't notice the feet. So if you can't cancel, don't sweat it. BTW, She looks adorable.

You know I love that face and I will take any pix of her. The only thing I saw was that the pix looked like they cut her head off. I love her smile, her cheeks, she is adorable. Nothing wrong with the no shoes or socks. Is this a formal invite or something. Leave it as it. The thought that you are even sending cards is all that matters.

I love love love no shoes or socks on kids and I think it is perfectly OK Melissa! My SIL took pro pics with my twin nephews and they only had socks on since they raely keep shoes on as well. I think it is fine!!
