My FH suggested a disney song for our first dance, because we LOVE disney and were engaged at the castle. So he suggested 'A dream is a wish your heart makes'..from cinderella. What do you think? Is it danceable? Feedback is much appreciated!

If you like to waltz.. what about.. hmm whats it called 'I know you.. a danced with you once upon a dream .... I know you, the gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam......., etc'
I think it is Cinderella... not sure,but pretty song, good waltz.

DEFINETLY DO IT!!! It is so pretty and different!! No one I know ever did it! That is a great song. You can definetly dance to it. I say go for it!

I am a Disney fanatic myself!!! If you're concerned about the Cinderella version, which I think is a great idea, Billy Joel has a nice version... It's on a CD called Simply Mad About the Mouse... has a bunch of disney songs, sung by popular artists... Just a suggestion!
No matter what version, it is definately danceable!

I do not know how to waltz, but FH just offered to take dance lessons. Do you think it is worth it? Or should I pick another song?

Not sure if the dance you are choosing is a waltz or not... but, if you take a few lessons you can do it. The waltz (basic waltz) is just a one-two-three-one-two-three step. To add any fancy turns and stuff and to get your timing down you should take a few classes. The waltz is a very classic and romantic dance, excellent for a wedding, and you friends and family will be so impressed when you get up there and do something other than hug and sway!!!
P.S. Still not sure what me and FH are doing, but dancing lessons are DEFINITELY in order.... i can barely get him to sway !!! LOL

What mold did Tom get cut out of????? I think you should defintely use a song that has some disney link. I can't wait until this whole day has been put together. Do you want to just take over my plans??? You are doing such an amazing job my friend.

DO IT!! . .we got engaged there too and are thinking of doing 'If you Wish upon a Star' as the last song. . . There will definately be Disney music played!!!
