Our first sonogram pic.

I'm only 8 weeks along right now, and DH and I had our first sonogram done 2 nights ago. Thought I'd share one of the pics we got to bring home. Although it looks just like a 'jellybean' as DH referred to it, it's still extremely exciting. We even saw the heartbeat flickering which was wonderful.

i hope to have a simular one next wensday at 8 and half weeks.. The 6 week sono looked like a little bean flickering the heartbeat is so cool isn't it.... Congrats... when is your due date

I hadn't expected to actually be able to see the flickering of the heartbeat, so yes, it was extremely wonderful. My due date is September 18th. What's your due date?

Isn't that the best feeling to see the heartbeat? Congrats. You jellybean is adorable.

Worried 3 - if you get a pic next week, post it for us. We would love to see. Looks like we are going to be due just around the same time.... how exciting.

Deb_n_rob - Thanks. I see that you are in your second trimester now. That must be a wonderful feeling. Can I ask you, have you had to buy any maternity clothes yet? Just today I woke up and feel as if my pants are tighter.... I wonder if it's too soon or maybe I'm just eating too much lately.

Congratulations on your little bundle of joy, I wish you a very healthy and happy pregnancy!!! I have a question, I hope you dont mind me asking. When you went for your 8 week sono were you able to hear the heart beat, or you were able just to see it (wich it wonderful also)?
