No, I wasn't able to hear the heartbeat, I actually asked if they knew how many beats per minute it was beating, but I was told the machine she was using wasn't good enough to determine that. I was also told that next time I will hear the heart beating. Just seeing the flickering was exciting enough for me.

Congrats! I wasn't able to hear the HB either at my last appt at 12 wks - next week is my 16 wk one so I'm sure I'll get to hear it then

Thats so great! Congratulations! We had our first sonogram on Tuesday. Isnt it a wonderful feeling to see that little heartbeat! I cant wait to go back in 4 weeks for my 11 week sono! Congrat!

Mishy626 I am in maternity pants. I bought the demi style. They say they're good for 3-7 months but right now they are so much more comfy. The demi style is just a wide elastic band around the waste. Tops I am still ok with, but lately they are starting to feel tighter on me. So, I started buying some tops but I fell silly wearing them since I don't have much of a belly yet. But, they are so comfy. Good luck and happy shopping.
