Our guest list is out of control

We promised our parents, who are taking care of the bill, that we would not have more than 160 people at the wedding, well last night we went over the guest list and it is at 247...I feel like we are playing wedding survivor trying to vote people off..it just cant be done! I have been told that my room gets crowded at 180 people..what should i do?!?

keep in mind that the average drop off rate ('no' responses) is 20%, which would give you about 200 guests... assuming that formula becomes a reality for you.

what you can is not invite kids under 18 or 16 and possibly eliminate some others as well.

or, you can always offer to pick up the tab for anyone over that 160 limit.
