Our Honeymoon-Long
Our honeymoon was the best vacation ever. We didn't know up until the Monday we left whether we could go or not with the airports closing but Monday morning we were confirmed. We used Carlson Wagonlit (Helen Perella and Marcy Braun) in Huntington. They were superb, very professional and helpful in enormous ways. We had gone in to their office about a year ago and told them basically what we wanted, a first class trip to specific places in Europe. We flew to Venice and spent a few nights there, awesome hotel called Cipriani, we then took a train to Lake Como and spent a few nights at Villa d'este in Cernobbio right on the lake. Absolutely spectacular, from there we visited Bellagio. We then flew from Milan to Barcelona where we took a cruise (Celebrity Millenium) to Malta, Naples/Capri, Rome, Corsica, and Nice/Monte Carlo. The ship was amazing, service was incredible and food was delicious. I highly recommend the ship for anyone interested in cruising (I believe the ship is on it's way to the carribean now). Helen and Marcy surprised us with a shipboard credit also which was a nice touch. We then spent a night in Barcelona (beautiful city) and flew home. It was an amazing trip and I will be glad to give anyone details if they would like. Good luck to all brides with all of your planning!

We are thinking of doing a European Cruise on Celebrity - do you mind sharing how many nights your cruise was and what was the cost? Thanks, Stefanie

We were on for 7 nights and the cost was about $3800/pp. By the end of the cruise, our accounts (everything works on a cashless system--for drinks, etc.) were another $3000. But we went all out on massages, alcohol, gambling, etc. One thing to keep in mind though, a lot of the ships that do the mediterranean in the summer head back to the carribean for the fall. The Millenium was doing its transatlantic route right after our's ended. It was an awesome ship and I have heard all of the celebrity ships are similar. Good luck and let me know if I can help anymore.Welcome New Vendors
