ugh--FH JUST got the notification, he's working double OT on xmas day. so he'll only see me for a few hours on xmas eve, but xmas day i will not see him at all as he will be working the entire day. since we don't live together, it's not like he can come home and walk up together on xmas day and he just goes to work.
i'm trying to stay positive--cause this is the LAST xmas we have to deal with not living together and not being able to spend time together. but it just sux that i won't be with my man on xmas.
at least in our culture, xmas eve is a much bigger deal than xmas day, and we have a big celebration that nite. at least he can be there for that, but it still sux that i won't see him on xmas at all!

Im with you except me and my FH will spend the holidays on the phone together ....me here.... him in japan. But look on the bright side of it.... We both have many many many to come!

I'm sorry...but like you said X-Mas Eve is bigger in your family and at least you get to spend that with him.
