Our last engaged xmas--spending it APART!

ugh--FH JUST got the notification, he's working double OT on xmas day. so he'll only see me for a few hours on xmas eve, but xmas day i will not see him at all as he will be working the entire day. since we don't live together, it's not like he can come home and walk up together on xmas day and he just goes to work.

i'm trying to stay positive--cause this is the LAST xmas we have to deal with not living together and not being able to spend time together. but it just sux that i won't be with my man on xmas.

at least in our culture, xmas eve is a much bigger deal than xmas day, and we have a big celebration that nite. at least he can be there for that, but it still sux that i won't see him on xmas at all!

That really stinks. I don't blame you for being upset. But like you said, at least he is spending Christmas Eve with you.

Look at the positive side... at least you won't be missing Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and your birthday (which is Christmas Day) with your FH like I am

We're going out to Cali for my cousin's wedding and we're all leaving EARLY on the 24th but since FH couldn't get the Eve or the Day off, he's flying out on the 26th. So I miss all of them with him

Im in the same boat... I wont be with my FH at all for the holidays.. He lives in Florida

Im in the same boat, he's spending it with his fam in Maryland and me on LI. *****>. gonna have to drink alot of wine to dull the pain.

JUST MAKE CHRISTMAS EVE YOUR CHRISTMAS DAY.....LOOK AT THE GLASS AS HALF FULL..MY FBIL HIS GIRLFRIEND LIVE IN CHINA AND HE LIVES IN HAWAII IF THEY CAN MAKE IT WORK????? definatly ***** but same here abuot xmas eve being a bigger deal... if FH wasnt with us on xmas eve id be REAAAAALLY upset.. but if he wasnt with me on xmas day it wouldnt bother me so much

Im sorry this is happening to you. I am in the same boat. My whole family is going to texas tonight for christmas and John can't come. We did Christmas last night and I wont see him until Wednesday!!

awwww... Mel... we celebrate Christmas Eve and Larry is also working.. he's on a split tour 11-7 and it's his last day, so I am hoping he doesn't get stuck... I feel you sista!!!
