Our little family has expanded!

We got a second cat!!! We were cat-sitting for a colleague and were supposed to give Edna up this week. Knowing this, we agreed to take Finn from a colleague's roommate who is moving to Ireland. But last weekend, Edna's owner said that we could keep her if we wanted to (we will) but we already made arrangements to adopt Finn. So we now have two cats! Finn, a beefy 14-pounder, has been hiding under the bed between the wall and a guitar case all morning and early afternoon. Edna seems to want to part in this! Needless to say, the next few days will be quite interesting (and maybe entertaining) in our little family!

Yay! I love kitties! And they say you should always get them in pairs. My kitties LOVE eachother. They snuggle and do eachother's laundry and play together. Now I want another one!

It should be interesting! Edna is 14 and has always had her sister, Millie, around until her death back in December. Finn, who will be 4 in September, has never met a cat. I'm convinced that Edna is in love with my DH - she will sleep with him in bed when I'm not there. Once I climb back into bed (like on the weekends - I'm an early riser), she leaves. Edna also is all over DH when he comes home from work. She could care less about me. Finn's owner said that he likes men as well, so I think these cats will be DH's groupies!
