Our new wood floors are almost done!! FH and FFIL put it in themselves. It was future inlaws gift to us for the house!! Dont mind the pink blinds--those are coming down this weekend!

Was the floor easy to do? What brand & color did you use? DH & myself aren't the handiest of people and we would love to be able to save the money and do the floors our selves. I would appreiciate any suggestions or advice you have.

It wasnt hard at all!! There were just a few tricky cuts that we had to do. It only took 1 day!! It is Kahr's brand, which we heard was one of the best. Our floor is an Amber Birch. The floor locks together very easily and they give you al ittle kit (wood black, floor leveling tool, etc) to help you install it. Once we figured out the first row, we flew through the rest!!

Inlaws paid around $2000 for everything. Not too bad, and like I said, it was pretty easy to put down
