Our new Puppy!!

OMG...DH and I are putting a deposit on this little guy!!!!

We think our current dog will love him...we know our cat will hate him

has anyone introduced a puppy to a young dog before? please tell me I won't love my current dog less...

He is adorable! And of course you wont love your current dog less. Just be sure that you give your current dog plenty of love and attention so he does not get jealous.

Awww, what a cute puppy. From what friends have told me, when introducing a new pet, give the older pet some special 'mommy and daddy' time too. Designate a certain time of the day that is only for you, DH and your senior dog. (I think they tell new parents to do this with children too)

How about giving your older dog a gift from the puppy - my parents did that for me and I ended up liking my little brother

Awwwhh, he is adorable!!

You shouldn't have too many problems with them getting along. If your current boy is around the same age as Angel (2+/-) he'll be happy he has someone to play with. The adjustment at home went really well. They never give each other a break and play constantly.
