What a way to start off the New Year...we put an offer on a house and the builder accepted our offer!!!!! Hopefully we'll go into contract within the next two weeks or so!!!!!

That's awesome. Congrats. There's nothing like a brand new home. I grew up in S.I. Before I moved out to LI, I was living in Grasmere which isn't too far from Oakwood. Oakwood is a really nice area. It's an easy commute to the City, if you guys work there. I did it for 8 years !! If you don't mind my asking, who is the builder? I rented from Surf Side Properties for many years. I know the head guys and they are great guys.

Yup, I know exactly where Grasmere is and yes the commute is a piece of cake compared to mine now...we currently live all the way at the end of Staten Island so this would definitely be a lot closer to the city for us. Honestly, I don't know who the builder is because we are dealing with the Real Estate Agency who is basically the middle man (Neuhaus Realty). Once I find out who the builder is I will let you know...my DH definitely knows their name but I have no idea, I just want the house
