What a way to start off the New Year...we put an offer on a house and the builder accepted our offer!!!!! Hopefully we'll go into contract within the next two weeks or so!!!!!

No, we have been looking on and off for the past two years but couldn't really make a move being we were saving for the wedding. We saw these houses that were being built about 6 months ago and went to see them but again couldn't really do anything being we were getting married. My DH recently saw they were building more and some were almost finished so we decided to go see them (knowing what they looked like already) we met with the Real Estate Agent and put in an offer right then and there and the builder accepted. Our lawyers are talking now and getting all the necessary paperwork for us to go into contract. Hopefully we'll be in contract within the next 2 weeks and will be moved in March 1st (thats if the house is ready).

Hey Mel...

The house is in Oakwood, Staten Island and were not sure when we close...were thinking towards the end of Feb or sometime in March.
