Our Wedding 9/27/02-The Best Day EVER...

Gosh I dont even know where to begin, but it definatley was the best day of our lives ever. We not only enjoyed our day but had a blast all day and night long..it was just the greatest.
We loved all of our vendors and would highly recommend everyone we used. First of all the flowers came to the house and they were just magnificent..we used Flower Michele and the bouquets, centerpieces, altar flowers, corsages, boutinieres...everything were just amazing. We had/have received so many compliments on the flowers. John was just so great to work with as well as Marlise. The cake was just what we wanted..they really do such classy beautiful work and super nice to work with. I could go on and on about how psyched we were about the flowers...and just our whole experience with Flower Michele..they are the BEST!!!!
Next we used NJL Limos..they were awesome, on time so cooperative, no troubles, spotless and beautiful limos.
We had Steve from Patken as our photographer..and he was just a pleasure to work with all day. Super quick and gets all of the shots done. Creative poses. fun pictures but most of all just so easygoing and fun to work with. Am so excited for our album and proofs. We highly recommend Steve!!!! hes awesome
Peter from Platinum Video was our videographer..he was also amazing. He came to our house..and stayed till the very end which was just the best. He was such a pleasure to work with as well. He was on the dance floor the whole time at the reception, and was so unobstrusive it was great. He worked hard all day and it has just been awesome working with him.
we got married in st. james and the reception was at Giorgio's. It really was a dream wedding, everything at Giorgio's was just perfect!! THe people are so nice to work with..the room is gorgeous..the cocktial hr. from what I heard was an enourmous spread. The food was excellent, the service was topnotch. our maitredees were right on top of us all night for anythign we needed it was the best. The guests loved that they even offered seconds at dinner. We really did not have one complaint about Giorgio's. I think what makes that place is the people who work there..you book with them, they help you plan your wedding and they are there at your wedding all night, its a nice family owned place and they do a fabulous job.
and last..we had Tommy Tunes for our DJ. Joe E and Kevin rocked the wedding. THey were the BEST!!! everyone is still raving about Joe..he was the perfect Mcee..alwayup with the crowd..and kept the crowd partying all night he made the wedding just right!! He was sooo much fun, theyplayed every song we wanted to hear..even our dinner music. we were so impressed with Joe-a great mcee is sooo important for the day and you can NOT go wrong if you request Joe E. he's incredible!!
well i think that sums it up for vendor reviews. after the wedding we went to HI and had the best time. We absolutely loved the Ritz Carlton on Maui and we stayed at the Hyatt which has beautiful grounds and is a great resort.

Michelle! I've been waiting for you to come back!! I haven't even read your post yet, but I wanted to reply (only us west coast folks on at this hour).

I saw John and Peter the weekend of your wedding. They were raving. The woman that works with John at Flower Michele was talking about how you had trolleys on all the tables and SF locations - she loved it.

Also, I saw your engagement pictures all over patken - they're great!

We aslo used Steve from Patken, and Joe from Tommy's Tunes. He is GREAT!!!!! and was so nice to work with

Congrats Michelle!!!! I was looking at your bridal pic thinking how fantastic you looked...and then I thought you looked vaguely familiar...and then when someone mentioned they sawe your engagement pics on the Patken website I thought 'That's it!' Beautiful, beautiful.. COngrats!

We are thinking of using Steve at Patken, so I am glad you liked his work...
