We did not order enough invitations, and I don't want to order more. I am thionking of hand making (well on the PC) personalized ones for the bridal party (4 girls, 7 guys)
I am looking for ideas of wording, presentation. I can buy blank invitations off the web, and probably will, instead of plain white craft store types.
Any ideas?

Re: Out of invitations
Where do you live sweetie? and do you have a theme? how about making really nice scrolls and hand delivering them? or having them hand delivered? being that you only need a few you can be really creative and make it look planned as opposed to not having ordered enough, you know? have you tried any of those papers stores?

Re: Out of invitations
Thanks Marcellabella
hand delivering would be good for local people, but we have a couple of out of town GM, its a good thought though
Our theme is calla lilly - on the invitaiton, my bk, and the centerpieces - I was thinking of something different - actually I was hoping some one could suggest something different.

Re: Out of invitations
Do you have at least one invitation left for your album? Have you thought of going to Kinko's and having copies made, they do color. I have also seen response cards that are pre-printed in Office Max. They also sell whole kits to do invitations. I think it is $29.95, they include invits, response and envelopes.

Re: Out of invitations
Maybe put a couple of lines about why you asked them to be in your bridal party - like:
Because of our years of friendship And all the support you have given us Please come and stand by our side On our special day
Place Time Etc.

Re: Out of invitations
why not go to a local paper store and buy a kit and you can print them out? Im sure there are beautiful ones to choose from and since you don't need too many, it won't cause you much?
or have you thought about just making them yourself from scratch?

Re: Out of invitations
What about attaching a silk flower to a handwritten invitation?
Did you save at least one invitation to frame for posterity? My best friend forgot to and we went on a hunt asking guests to bring a clean invite to her shower...

Re: Out of invitations
I live in Long Beach - where in Farmingdale?
I pass through the city for work, and I was thinking of a paper place there - maybe Paper Access

Re: Out of invitations
Kates Paperie has a few locations in the city - worth a stop if you're going to the city IMHO
