I just went to a wedding where they gave those recyclable tote bags. They were very durable and can hold a lot! She even had their names printed on. She said it didnt cost a lot at all.....
I plan to do the recyclable tote bags also. My FSIL was at a wedding recently and thats what they had. I thought it was such a great idea.
i am working with my wedding designer to screen print light organic canvas tote bags with a custom logo. it's a great way of giving something nice to guests that they can reuse ... i've been to weddings where they did paper bags and i just thought it was pretty tacky.
where do you get the recyclable bags from?
We used weddingchicks.com for our tote bags.
foryourparty.com! I got the cutest purple bags from there I am so in love with. the European real string ones. they have reg bags also in all colors.
I love the idea of a tote bag! I've never seen it at a wedding I've been too and it's so useful. We're doing white gift bags (which IMO is not tacky at all) but we're putting a personalized sticker on the front and black ribbon.

actually not sure yet ... my designer (a second cousin of FH's!) is going to get them from the same place she got hers for her wedding ... I'll have to checkshe said they were really cheap.

ok definitely let me know or FM me! I was just beginning to browse for bags for the hotel- i have some time and luckily wasn't tempted by cyber monday sales to buy on impulse! I like the idea of a tote that can be reused! :)
