Out of Town brides
Re: Out of Town brides
What we did was plan trips and packed them with vendor appointments...it is a little stressful but for us--it meant not stressing out and seeing a lot of vendors before making decisions--got recs from friends, halls, and here and then picked a few to look at---We needed ot make decisions fast. Good Luck!

I feel ya. I'm currently a medical student in NJ and I'm about to move to michigan. I thought long and hard about this and decided to hire a wedding planner. To me it is totally worth it. I felt better immediately after hiring her. She narrows all the vendors for me and only shows me a couple at the end. she negotiates all the contracts and sets up all my appointments for me. she'll even be in charge of sending out invites and keeping track of RSVP's. And because they work in the wedding business she can bring down prices with vendors better than I can. In the end a wedding cordinator is supposed to pay for themselves by saving you money. I highly recommend hiring one that you can trust and who isn't to expensive. Let me know if you want more info about who I interviewed for the job.

i understand what you're going through... I live in Philly currently and have been coming back to LI nearly every weekend to see vendors and book them. It has put a strain on seeing family and friends, luckily they have been understanding... But just think, once the biggies are done then you can go to LI and just visit people... It's a great feeling!
