outdoor ceremony in july???

It seems like every RH i call boasts about their outdoor ceremony site....even when i tell them my date is in july.

is it just me...or is the idea of an outdoor ceremony in july seem brutal? i know its only like 30min.....but, its gotta be hot!

any thoughts?

We actually went to our RH this July 25th in the evening just be sure that we made the right choice and it was beautiful... there was still the July heat, but it was comfortable cuz it was later... I've been to outdoor ceremonies in August - just as long as the time is right, it will probably be fine

We got married outside on July 19, with the ceremony starting at 7:30. It was beautiful! Not too hot at all, in my opinion. Also, our programs were fan shaped so that if anyone was warm they could use those. We also insisted that the RH provide a water and ice tea station outside for the guests, which they did with no problem.

I would say decide the day of, that is what we are doing. You never can tell- you could have a really mild day then again it could be a scorcher. IMO go with the plans that if it isnt too hot it will be outside but if it is you will be ok with it inside. that way you don't get your hopes up too much,
