How does it work? Do you provide a CD and they play it? If you get a quartet (or musicians) do they do all the music? Will it be loud enough???

Re: Outdoor Ceremony Music
I had a classical trio and they were heard just fine, but they did have mics. I also had a claypso band for the CH and again, they had mics. You can either have live music, have your DJ play for it, or some halls can just put in a CD for you.

I am either going to hire a harpist and flutist OR I may have my friend who is actually a professional concert violinist play at the ceremony. It's just for the ceremony though, although I know some musicians will include the cocktail hr too. Having a DJ for the reception. I think it really depends on how big of an area they are playing in and how the acoustics are. You may need a microphone. If you are getting married in a house of worship, they usually have a mic. I am getting married outside, but I don't think I will need a mic either. It's a small area.
