Outdoor CH in early May?

Has anyone ever attended an outdoor CH in early May? Our CH is going to start at 7 and some people are saying that we will probably have to have it inside and others are saying outside.

We love the outdoor space at our venue and really wanted to get to use it!

I have. I've also attended one in mid November. It was much warmer at the one in may.

My wedding is the end of April and as long as its not raining I'll be having my CH outside!

we have gone to brunch @ la casa on the water in northport in may for mothers day. it is COLD usually. sometimes u might get a good day where u can be warm in the sun with no breeze.... but i think that only happened once. and this is around lunchtime we go!

Is there any way to have both? My RH has indoor and outdoor CH space and we have all the space to do with what we want.

yea we can do both - there are doors leading right ourside from the ch room. We may just have to do that.

If we do that though, where would you suggest we put our cigar roller and guitar player?

You could put one outside and one inside. We have a steel drummer and he will be outside unless it rains. Our RH also has a piano in the CH room that my friend is planning on sitting at to play lol.

The Riviera told us they can make the switch pretty last minute, so if you want the outdoor cocktail hour, plan on it!

Then, if the weather doesn't cooperate, you can move it indoors (probably even the day of).
