Outdoor wedding ceremony

For those of you having an outdoor wedding ceremony @ at the reception hall, when are you taking your pictures????

we are taking pics at the house and at Bayard Cutting arboretum BEFORE the ceremony...

Family and bridal pics at our houses and catering hall prior to the ceremony. But we don't want to see each other so all our 'together' pictures will be taken during the cocktail hour.

we are taking all of our pictures at the hall before the ceremony. we booked the hall for all day and all night for that reason.

the vanderbilt museum...i too didn't want to do before pix together, but realized that they will be awesome and we are spending soooo much money and then i decided they are worth it.

We are taking most of our pictures before the ceremony. I was alittle disapointed at first that we would see each other before the ceremony, but we will still 'see' each other for the first time anyway. Plus this way that can be caught on film too! Also we are having a 7:00pm ceremony which would mean it would be getting dark out afterwards. Plus we can spend time with our guests at the cocktail party.

We did it after everything was over (we had a daytime wedding). Our photographer was a photojournalist, so we didn't feel the need for 'posed' photos, but we had a few taken anyway.
