I think I just saw something about this on here not too long ago. Some of the brides were saying how it is an open call to come and burglarize your house becasue then people automitcally know no one will be home. Although that is not an answer to your question I thought it was a good point. I do know people who have used tulle for the doorway and the staircase (if you have one) going up to the front door. I know I saw someone who made a trellis thing with tulle and flowers all on it. Sorry Im not too helpful.
