I am from Long Island, NY? Anyone from here too?Does anyone have ideas of places to hold an outdoor receptions where atent can be set up, music won't be a problem, etc??

Yes! The Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport does that. It is beautiful there! I believe the Arboretums in Oyster Bay does too.

I think you can do that at the nassau county art museum - they have nice gardens and I think a sculpture garden

Im getting married at the Vineyard Caterers. They have a great place outdoors for a ceremony and pictures. There are also a whole bunch of wineries out on the east end that host weddings.
