Hey there.

I have a Christening on Sunday. Dinner at 5:00 in a restaurant in Hoboken. Be honest...can I wear my red cords with a striped maternity top that is nice and flowy? Or is that too casual? Should I try to find a skirt/sweater or something?

According to my mother, when you are pregnant you can wear whatever fits you most comfortably to any function, as long as you are neat, clean, ironed, and in the remote ballpark of the formality of the occasion (you can't get away with sweats or jeans unless you're doing something ultra casual).

If we judge by her opinion (and I have to admit she has never steered me wrong ), you'll look beautiful and appropriate.

I also agree with Jenn (and her mom , the prego gals can always get away with looking more 'comfy'

Especially with it being on a Sunday evening!
