I'm sorry this happened to you. A friend of mine just bought her dress from there. The tags were cut and she didn't find out the name of the designer until after she purchased the dress. I warned her about the things I heard about this place but she couldn't help it- she loved the dress. She got really excellent service, as did we when we tried on bridesmaid dresses but I probaly know she could have paid less for her dress...

it's okay now. Everything happens for a reason.
As most everyone on here knows- I found the most beautiful Vera Wang dress at the Saks Sample sale! I couldn't be happier!! I do feel bad for other people. But in the same respect..people do have good experiences there. So i guess it just depends!

i hate how people take advantage of brides. as if we don't have enough problems as it is!

Well look at the good side, at least you have hopes of getting the original dress you wanted! It's probably like a third of the price you saw at bridal couture...

That's crazy! That reminds me of Legally Blonde (I think it's Legally Blonde) where she's shopping and the saleslady cuts off the tags to try and get her to buy the dress at full price

LOL...that's immediately what i thought of!!

Re: overpriced vent

well we went to a shop that i found the dress that i fell in love with and it was priced at 2000 and i was so sad! the lady knew my mom so she said she could do it for 1400, i was sooo happy but it was still more then i wanted to spend on the dress....

anyway, a week later when i was home in FL, i called the only place that sells bellissima couture dresses in FL, and she can order me the dress for 1099.....i was like ***!!! deff going with the place down here

Re: overpriced vent

The same thing happened to me... I went to four different store and the price ranges from $950 - $1200 so I called Burtons Bridal (were my sister got her dress) and she could get it for me for $625. It really does make you wonder
But what really pisses me off and I could go on and on about this is that when I'm shopping around and find something I like no one miraculously knows who the designer is. That's such BULL - you mean to tell me some fairy fedex man dropped it off so you could showcase it in your store but you don't know who the designer is. Or better yet the store rights a fake style number on the dress/accessories so you can't sneak and write it down to search for it later at home.

WHY ARE VENDORS SO MEAN TO US SOMETIMES.
