I AM IN THE SAME BOAT AS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FH wont wear a ring, he also cant wear t-shirts cause its to tight around his neck, he cant have anything constricting his fingers. So my guess is he is not going to wear a ring at all.

His grandfather has the same weird disorder, so i guess that is where he got it from

I'd be upset and go shopping with him to find one that is comfortable.

Have him try on a comfort fit band. They're contoured so that only the outer edges are actually touching his skin. Most people find that more comfortable.

Never heard of that! Thanks

FH and I had the same fight a few months ago...... I voiced it when his parents were here, they made him feel bad

I voted annoyed but deal...

I'll be livid when I have to...we made a deal and he will 'try' to wear it. I know alot of guys at work said they didn't want to wear theirs at first, but got used to it. so....we'll see...

Funny you say that, one of FH's friends says he gets hit on more now that he has a wedding band on than he ever did before

I wrote not care but that's because my dad has never worn a wedding ring.... My parents have been married for 37 years. When I was younger I didn't even know men wore wedding rings. So I'm kind of okay without the rings. I never saw it as a symbol on men. Never looked at guys hands to see if they were married.
Now FH is excited to wear a ring and says he will never take it off. As much as I'm super excited abou that. I would be okay if he didn't wear it.
I know I'm super super weird like that, but that's just how I am.

PS - My dad was a NYC firemen and its kind of a hazard at the job to be wearing a ring, so he just never got in the habit of wearing it....

Wow, my parents have been married more than 40 yrs and my dad never ever wore a ring either - maybe bc he was a NYC fireman as well! Like you, I never realized guys even wore rings, so I would not be particularly bothered by it either.

My dad never wore his ring and my parents have been married 41 years. He doesnt have a job where it would be a bother... he just never wore it. He's not a jewlery kind of guy, won't wear a fancy tie tack or cufflinks either.

My fiance wants to wear his ring and never take it off. Which is really sweet. BUT to be honest, seeing him with rings on is really wierd to me b/c he never wears any kind of jewlery at all. He also have 'piano fingers' so when he wears rings he looks a little feminine and it's just wierd. I think i'll have a harder time adjusting to him wearing the ring than he will!
