Overseas Invites

I am inviting overseas guests. And we will be sending their invites out in January. (So if they want to come they can save up & book tickets) Should I just leave the response date to be the same as all the others?? Yes, right??????????

Re: Overseas Invites

Definitely - regardless of where they live, you still need to give the hall a final headcount and do your table arrangments. You don't want to risk them RSVP'ing late. You just might want to mail their invitations a few days earlier.

Good Luck!!!!

Re: Overseas Invites

I'm getting married in May so the invites are going to be there WAY early.

Re: Overseas Invites

OK.... Here's my question about this topic. I know that my grandmother, and one of my great-aunts are definitely coming over from Greece from my wedding - Do I still send them the invites, or hold them here for them so that they don't get mangled in the mail???

I'm afraid that it'll be considered rude if I don't send them, and then again, half of me thinks that they would like to get the invitations totally intact with everything that is now going on with overseas mail.... Someone help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Overseas Invites

I would send them. If they don't get them you can just tell them you sent them. If they do get mangled you grandmother will know it was the postal service not you who did it
