oy...

did you ever have one of those days where news hit ya like a ton of bricks???

for starters...

a girl i grew up with.. my next door neighbor for 25 years... (well, 21 really, cuz shes 3 years younger than me...)... IS PREGNANT... my jaw hit the freaking floor when i heard this. THREE YEARS YOUNGER... it makes me feel like a senior citizen.

and secondly..

a girl ive known for a long time... my parents OLD OLD OLD best friends daughter.... has announced that she's getting married... to a GIRL... thats all good with me... love knows no gender... but COME ON... both these tidbits of information in one day?!??!

life throws us curve balls every once in a while but it is a new life being brought into world eventually and a sharing of life b/w two people
