October is a great month for a party. You really don't have to worry about the weather where as in January there is always a chance that there would be a snow storm. Plus, you might be able to take some beautiful pictures outside with the leaf colors...I love that.

October has all the pretty colored trees! You dont have to worry about a blizzard.
