Which is best for the day of pictures? I want to make sure that we have enough time and arent being forced out of anywhere. Also, do we need to make appointments to reserve the grounds? I didnt think of this before =)
I've been to both and they are both beautiful places. However, I think the OWG blows away any other place I've ever been in terms of beauty.
I was thinking about taking my Epics at Old Westbury Gardens. I was wondering though, does anyone know if they allow dogs for pictures only? (I know- cheesy!) I've brought my dog there before for dog days, but wanted him in a couple of Epic shots :)
I've been to both as a BM. At Westbury Gardens we had some snotty girl in a golf cart rushing us along. At Oyster Bay we were able to go where we wanted, stay as long as we wanted, & the flowers were much nicer. My cousin paid $125 for the pernit at Oyster Bay. Westbury Gardens gets $300-$500 depending on the time of day.
