Oyyy FML... I mean FMIL

She starts out with 'You know Stephen (FH) for so many years, it's not like you just met...' (and then more jumbled crap).

I said, 'What are you talking about?'

She said, 'here in America, Divorce happens too much and I know you're going to fight, but it is not an option, divorce.'

I said, 'I really don't want to have this conversation.'

And then more blabber for about another 30 seconds and then she dropped it.

Should I have told her that most of my family has been divorced at least once? That would have gotten her annoying goat!
I didn't want to keep hearing her mouth tho, so I didn't say anything.

If i had to be around my FMIL as much as you have to I would KMS (kill myself - I know myself is one word - just go with the abbrev right now!)

It's a miracle I haven't KMS yet!

You should have responded, no one in my family family has gotten divorced because they all have affairs. Scare her silent.

I started doing that with my FMIL. I have been with her son for 5 years. We are 1 month away from the wedding and within the last 6 months, she turned psycho. So I mess with her. I don't care anymore. She asked me what song he is dancing with FH too at the wedding since he wants to surprise her. I told her Thriller. Than sent her the youtube video and told her to study the shoulder moves. She hates me now. Im laughing every step of the way!!!

I am rarely on here, but when I am, I try to spread mischief. It's pretty sad. I had a great FMIL for 4 years...until FH and I got engaged. She turned into the Crypt Keeper. Oh well. I used to get so upset, now I laugh. Because each time she acts like Norman Bates, FH moves further away from her.
