Love the food at Prima Pasta and they have a back room as well as a front area away from the main area.
Not 100% on prices but they are pretty good

Lenny's Clam Bar has a really nice back room and some good prices
There is Carosello which is where I had my e party and I FH wants to do the Rehearsal dinner there too
Danny's has habachi tables [spelled wrong] which is a very different idea for a rehearsal dinner
Oh and Mateo's right off the Belt Parkway too
If you want to go up the blvd a bit toward Queens Blvd you have Barosa which is really good

If you wouldn't mind could you let me know about how much Matteo's is for a brunch or dinner thing. I've never been but pass it and I am always curious.

Re: Ozone Park/Howard Beach area brides
Truthfully I have only been to a party there never booked a party there
I don't think they do a brunch menu I would call and ask them
I would think they will run you 35 to 50 a head but that is just a thought

My FMIL suggested that we should look at Matteos and Carosello. I always eat at Carosello and one day I asked about a party there. I think it was around $50 a head with open bar. I'm going to inquire about Matteo's soon. We're looking to have a Wed night rehersal dinner because we're getting married at St. Mary Gate of Heaven.

My rehersal dinner was at Carosello and it was pretty good! They gave us a private room (we were abt 40-50 people) and the kids in the bridal party loved the arcade. We also got married at Gate of Heaven so distance wise it was perfect. My MIL took care of booking so I don't have prices, sorry. HTH

I LOVE Jo abbraciamentos, and had my graduation party there several years ago, but I hinted that I wanted my shower there, so i don't know!
Also, you ladies named a few places I don't like, but I won't mention the names!
I did think about Danny's. That would be unique!
Just a word on Matteo's- they don't have handicapped access and you have to go down a very large flight of steps for the bathroom. I found out the hard way when I went there on crutches. Also, I've heard from some wheelchair bound folks that they just really don't care.
