Google it! It's a series of work-out DVDs (total body work out) that try to 'confuse' your muscles so you don't plateau as easily. But they are very intense. It comes with a nutrition guide as well.

Thank you

Do I need to purchase any additional equipment for it?

p90x will require you to have SOME type of resistance & a pull up bar. You can either use dumbells or resistance bands. It pretty much follows this type of routine:
1 day of weights
1 day of cardio
1 day of weights
1 day of yoga
1 day of weights
1 day of cardio
rest

I have to say, P90x is indeed hard. Its fast paced, used basic, old school exercises, but the beauty of it is you can technically do as many reps as you feel comfortable, and every exercise can be modified to make them easier. Its really not the cheapest at home workout, but its better than any 1 trick pony piece of equipment you see on TV.
