P90X *sniff*

i was so excited to receive the package & i even got FI to do it with me!

so we started disc 1 (arms/chest) and i could barely do a ONE FREAKIN PUSH-UP! I didnt get the equipments bec I know i cant do pull-ups! FI was able to follow a few and he did way better than me.

Now i feel depressed. I dont think i'll EVER be able to do this program. FI noticed my dissappointment so he said he'll help me with strength/endurance by running and believes i could eventually do it. This only made me feel worse about myself!

Don't feel bad! When I first started working out, I had my own battles, but I was determined to overcome them. I started out doing hip hop abs on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays. And on Tuesdays & Thursdays I would jog my community, which is about 3 miles with hills . Now I am able to do any exercise video.

You will eventually get used to it! Keep up with it! It gets easier every time you do it!

Good Luck

PS: I still don't like doing P90X

Aww, well, if it makes you feel any better, from what I've heard, p90x is pretty intense as far as workout programs go. You'll get there. Lots of women don't have a lot of upper body strength, it's not a natural thing... men are built for it... so you just have to work at it, you can do it!

My coworker got the discs about a month ago. When she first started it she could only do about 1% of the whole disc. Now she is dong more. Keep at it and it will get easier. I'm started next week and I'm expecting it to kick my *** because it is not an easy program.

Don't feel bad. I printed out the p90x worksheets to keep track of my progress.

week 1 -- I could do 10 push-ups (on my knees) -- dont laugh

Week 3 -- I did 30 pushups (no knees) yesterday!!

I was SOOO INCREDIBLY sore the first week. Just keep stretching. If you stick with it, you will feel stronger and healthier so soon! I'm starting my plyometric dvd right now. That one is intense!!

good luck!!!

Aww don't feel bad. It's supposed to be hard! They tell you constantly throughout the DVDs to go at your own pace and not to push yourself too far.

Why not try doing the cardio/ab/yoga ones? Those are the ones I try to do mostly (since I don't feel like I need to tone my shoulders/back/chest too much).

And for the most part, they tell the ladies to do assisted pull-ups (with a chair) or use the resistance bands instead, which is what I do. HTH!
