P90X Starts today!

I started P90x today! I took the fit test and beginning measurements/pictures on Saturday. I'm not as out of shape as I thought! The only thing I couldn't do were the pullups but they say that is typical! So, today is the first day of the diet and exercise. So far so good! Got up at 5:30am to do the first workout tape, ate my breakfast and packed my lunch and snacks for the day? So excited and ready for everything! Wish me luck! My b-pics are 9 weeks away so I will be just starting the third phase of the program. Hopefully I will look amazing already! Here's hoping!

I'm also starting this again today. I did it 2x before but never finished the program. FH and I are going to try and get all the way through it this time!

Im going to get back into it today, just not the diet.

I think Im doing the Classic program, so today is Chest and Back

What program is everyone else doing? Which worksout did you do today?

I'm doing the typical. So chest/back and abs. I couldn't keep up with the ab workout but did good with the other. Good luck girls! Lets keep each other motivated! We will make it the full 90 days!

I'm doing the lean program. FH is doing the classic. I don't want bulky muscles just long lean and toned

Is that what the lean program means? I thought it just meant it had a bit more cardio. Hmmm... I don't want bulk either...

How did it go? Did you get good results?

I always forget about the first few days of dieting when you drink all this water to flush out the toxins and rehydrate your body! I've peed like 6 times already! It's like every 10 min! So annoying! 'Drink Till It's Clear!' Haha!

Good luck! I've been doing the classic program for about 2 1/2 weeks... I absolutley hate it lol but I'm happy with the way I'm starting to look!

I don't follw the nutrition part so much and I'm not a fan of the yoga video (1 1/2 hrs!) so I usually make that my rest day or do something else

FH wants to start soon but I think I scare him off b/c all he hears is me cursing at Tony and whatever girl is on the video that day

Too funny! So you are seeing some results? Good to hear! I don't think I could ever get FH to do it with me. He is not an exercise kinda guy!

I didn't know there were different workouts. My friend made me a copy of the video and it's collecting dust in my house. I should really start.

ahh I am happy for you but also jealous I have P90x and Insanity sitting in my house and still haven't done them. every night before bed I say I am starting tomorrow...and I dont.

Don't get discouraged! I'm the same way. Thats why this time I told everyone I was doing it so they would hold me accountable! Then I enlisted FH's friend to help me get started! Set a date and force yourself to start!

Definitely seeing results - I tried on a sleeveless dress for my cousin's wedding and when I looked in the mirror I saw little cuts in my arms - I was like OKAY maybe the pain is worth it!
Interested to see what the Day 30 photo is going to look like compared to Day 1

OMG me too! I was disgusted by my before pic so there is really only one way to go... UP! I can't look any worse!

I recently started the Insanity workout and love my results already!! Good luck with the P90X
