Hey, has anyone used a package deal for photography/videography, limo and DJ? If so, how much did it cost in total? We are on a HUGE budget and can't afford to pay for them separately. We are hoping it will cost $5,000 or less for all 4! Please HELP!! LoL

To be honest, if all 4 cost less than $5K I'd be really worried about quality.
I'm on a budget and I'm spending 2x that amount on those 5 things and none of them are really extravagant.
That isn't to say that packages are bad, but I would definitely examine what you're getting for each item, compare it to some outside deals, and make sure you're getting what you want and that it's really a bargain. It's not really a bargain if you have to shell out a lot of extra money to add on what you really want, KWIM?

I haven't seen a package like that. but High Energy DJ is a great DJ, as I just went to a wedding that he worked at and they were really really good. I don't dance and I was dancing all night, and they are only $900. That's the cheapest i've found.

Ariana studios i believe does package deals; it may not be the GREATEST quality but it'll work if you are on a budget and want some momentos + music

I used Arianna studios for my Wedding on June 25th,2010. As many of you brides know it's extremely overwhelming planning a wedding and contacting all these different vendors. I walked in overwhelmed and walked out relieved and calm! That afternoon I took care of my gown, flowers, Dj, photographer and videographer! The staff were all a pleasure to deal with from start to finish! They were professional and made us feel like they cared just as much about our day as we did. My husband and I couldn't have been happier

I use the package deal from Ariana Studios also. Was very happy with the Flowers, DJ, Limo and tux. Not sure about the video yet havent seen it. The photography was ehh ok. But that was because of the photographer I had. I do recommend you make sure you give a detailed list of the pics you want taken. I didnt, thinking that certain pics were automatic and they werent. They have made up to me for the problems I had. I still would recommend them if you are on a budget but I would not recommend my photographer.

Talk to VCanizalez on the 2011 board. I think she is also using Ariana and just added a bunch of upgrades to customize her package.

Ariana studios use Konrad or Ray they are great photographers and Jeff as your planner my friends are still raving about my pictures and Dj Gram from Ariana

I didn't want a package, I wanted to pick and choose everything separately. I figured I could spend more on what I wanted, and spend less on what didn't matter to me. Check it out, and compare the quality and prices to other vendors that don't come part of packages. Our limos (pick up and drop off for the girls and parents, the boys and one set of parents, and one limo back to a rental house and 1 car for us back) cost $990. Our video cost us $1195. Our DJ cost us $1000. But then photo cost about $3600. And they did have lesser packages, we just splurged a bit there. So it can be possible to pay 5k, even by picking your own vendors. Just get the basic packages, don't go overboard with extras. But if you want the package so you don't have to do all the research and you want to one stop shop, then that's the way to go.

Just make sure they have HD & DSLR. That is why we used Wild Rose Video the best thing we did for our wedding. I want my video of the most important day of my like to be the best quality, it has to last us our life time.

Well, thank you so much Everyone!! I am definitely going to check out vendors separately and as a package to weigh out the differences they offer and prices. I will also check out Ariana Studios!!
