PACKING!

Although I am ECSTATIC beyone words that we are moving...I DREAD the packing that's involved.

Any tips, ideas, shortcuts you guys want to share??

I just started yesterday!!!!!!! My back is killing me. First I had to pack up the attic. I have been throwing stuff up there. And then I organized it by where I wanted it in the new house. Then labeled it.

Then I started on the main floor. I think organization and labeling are HUGE!!!!!!!

You have to really be in the mood. I have boxes everyone and I still have a month until we move

I'm with Nov2004bride- organization is really important. And if you have time to do a little here and a little there, that would be easier, I think.

We too will be moving soon. I brought home 2 boxes from work and will start small. I always begin very organized and at the end I say **** it and just start shoving things randomly into boxes, which I regret. That's why I suggest doing a little at a time.

Now is also a great time to get rid of stuff. We have lots of old clothes and magazines, etc. And books we probably won't read again. I am guessing that we will make a substantial Salvation Army run soon.

number your boxes, put like items together (also pack by room) and keep an inventory of what is in each box!!!
