What you eat on Fat Tuesday in the midwest

Why don't I know anyone who eats these on Fat Tuesday?

Oh, I wish I was eating one right now.

Yes! My friend lives in Minneapolis and they make these each year!!!

LOOOOOOVE paczkis! Being Polish these are a pig out staple in my house!!! They are delicious....but I never realized they were 1200 calories. HAHA Not that it's going to stop me from eating them, lol. I even got my Irish FH hooked on them. But you can't just buy the imposters they sell at like Stop and Shop, you have to go to the Polish hood to get the good ones lol

its not really a 'midwest' thing.

its a polish thing. i'm not polish. but detroit, chicago... places where there's lot of polish bakeries.

its a tradition to eat them on fat tuesday. suiting right?

they're just like HUGE doughnuts. usually jelly filled but sometimes chocolate or custard.
