Paging Lizlen......(and all brides thinking of invites)

Hi Liz,
I wanted to thank you for referring me to Laura. She was soooo patient. She got here at 7 pm and just left (10 pm). I was sooo picky but she took bits and pieces and creted my dream invitation. I am sooo happy. I loved everyhting about her. I highly recommend her to other brides. Her company advertises here, LAProductions under invites.

P.S I saw your invite, VERY NICE!!!

I am so happy you were pleased w/Laura. Isn't she the sweetest?
Did you see the finished product of mine or the original sample?

What does your invitation look like?

She is sooo sweet. I saw your finished invite. It is very nice and elegant (I love the stripes).
Mine is COMPLETELY different. I got the 3 fold envelopment. It folds open on the top and on the bottom and the bottom folder holds the reception and response cards. It's beautiful.

She said she was going to show you yours today. I spent WAY MORE than I wanted but in the end I got what I wanted. I know that somewhere else it would have cost more. I am very happy. I took bits and pieces of my samples and created mine so I can't wait to see the final product soon. You''ll LOVE yours

Hey Curly !!!!
Laura is sooooo sweet, she came to my job on my lunch hour yesterday, and bought me the 1st completed sample. She bought me 2 samples to choose from. I LOVED both !!! They just had differences in the size font, etc. . And different silver colored paper, so I chose the one that matched my BMs dresses the best, and the biggr font, other than that, I'm having her make the vellum part wider, and that's it !!!!
It's perfect !!!
She is so wonderful to work with, and so accomodating.
I brought the samples home and Len loved them too!!! I can't wait to get all my invitations and send them out !!

DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO MINE????????? I am so **** excited. She emailed me all excited and wrote that I wasn't going to believe the news. She called the manufacturer to order my paper (to make my sample) and the person told her that style and color were on sale!!!!!!!! She saved me over $200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She COULD have not said anything and kept hte profit, but she didn't. I AM SOOOOOOOO HAPPY Girl, you don't even know. She's the best. I am ordering my STD magnets later on. YEAY!!!!!!! for us.

She did the same for me. She found a different distributor for my STD magnets, and now I'm saving like $56 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She did NOT have to pass on the savings, but she did !!! LOL, many others wouldn't have said a thing, especially after we already agreed to a price.

Some people might think they're plain, but since you saw my invitation, you'll know they'll kind of match. I'm going to quickly scan a pic of the very first sample and tell you how it will look different.

Here is a rought draft sample of the magnet.
It is a silver/platinum colored magnet, with white vellum. Silver ribbons on top. Instead of 2 silver ribbons, I will only have 1 in the middle. ON the left side, I will have a slim, sheer white ribbon going from top to bottom. In the main center part (that is empty now) will be a picture of Len and me.
The 'Psst' will be italicized.

I think those are the main changes.
How do you like it?

I like it. It matches your invitation nicely. Sometimes simple is more elegant I am staring at mine but I don't have a scanner It's a bit different. Did you see my sample?? Did you like it????

I saw the sample of your invitation, which I absolutley LOVED !!!!!!
I love the packaging, and how yours has a pocket for the response cards. I love the paper, and the little rhinestones she added on to it. It was beautiful !!!!!
Laura told me your main color is Champagne. I think the invitation is gorgeous!!
Don't you just love how she incorporates your theme?

I had told her simple elegance, silver and white, and she captured it perfectly w/my invitation !!!!
I see she did the same for you !!!!

Did you have a sample STD magnet made ?

Thats great she saved you $200 but i thought that is what I would pay total. I am scared to ask what i should really be expecting.

Well, Tara, it depends on what you're looking for. Both Curly and I picked fancy invitations, with layers on top of layers of expensive paper, and ours both come sort of 'packaged' for lack of a better word, but the actual invitation is like wrapped up in yet another expensive thicker type paper, that's why ours were up there in the $800 range. WHen I went to the shops, the kind of invitation she's making me were in the $1500-$2000 range. Can you believe that ????

BUT Laura, for instance, custom makes them. There is no reason that someone has to pay as much as we did, that was our choice.
She had many more inexpensive options, and she works with you and your budget.
If you tell her what you're looking for, and your budget, she will put something together that you could work with that still expresses your theme.

Now, $200 is a bit low, maybe $400 would be more realistic, if you look on the search for invitation cost threads, you'll see a lot of us started paying in the $400 and up range.
