The tape sounds easier but do you think it will hold with the heat? What kind of glue did you use?

Micheal's is a chain of craft stores on LI.

I used 17 or 24lb vellum.

No, they are not my favors (I wouldn't really want a used candle as a favor).

I used craft glue for my prototype which was not ideal since its a bit lumpy. I will have to test some sorts of tape.

So that frosted look is paper then huh? i was hoping you had an idea how to get the frosted look on glass so i could do it for my centerpieces.

Tara: There is a cream that frosts glass. Ive never used it but Ive seen all the craft shows talk about it.

I know Stef is honeymooning, but I hope others who are making votive candle holders can help.

When you post the image onto the vellum, do you cut out the writing? Or is the darkness of the print sufficient to make it legible?
