We want to repaint our apartment. The inside is concrete and 99% of the apartment does NOT have sheetrock over the concrete. What do we use to prime the walls? And we have colors picked out, but how do I know what kind of paint to use - oil based, latex, flat finish, satin finish, etc.? This is so confusing.
Thanks!

Re: Paint Question
I would ask the people at home depot...usually the person who works in the dept...knows paint

Re: Paint Question
Are you sure it's concrete? That doesn't sound right. Do you mean plaster? If the walls are plaster, which is fairly common then you don't need to do anything different with regard to what type of paint than you would if it were drywall. But, always ask when you go to the store. Priming is always a good idea, but a matter of choice.
