WE got two estimates today to paint our entire 2 bedrooms/lr/dr/bathroom/hallway/closets and ceilings (the apt. is about 1000 sq.feet) ...no fancy painting just basic...
The estimates were for $1900 and $2100 including the primer, spacling, and paint...does that seem like a lot or is it reasonable??

My DH said he thought that was on the high side. He was a contractor and painting was part of what he did...he said unless there is some kind of fancy stuff that needs to be done (cutting in on french doors or all sorts of molding), that those estimates are pretty high.

Anthony said although its on the high side, its not too bad. We had only our small hallway painted and going to the upstairs...although the guy did a beautiful job he charged us 400 dollars and that was for a simple hallway. Everything out there is just soooooo much money! Soooooo annoying!
