Has anyone been to any of these in all inclusives resorts in Mexico, we are thinking of going to other Aventura or Moon, the only thing is the beach's at both are not to good,
we can not decide on a honeymoon, we want an all inclusive that fun not to laid back yet not to crazy (if that makes sense lol)

Re: palace resorts

I have stayed at both of the resorts and they are both wonderful. You are right about the beaches though. The beach at the Aventura Palace was nicer than the beach at the Moon palace. The Moon Palace is closer to the clubs but if you are only planning on going into town one or two nights then I would say stay at the Aventura Palace. We stayed at Aventura palace for 2 weeks and went to the clubs only twice with the hotel( they go in vans). They go once a week. It was about an hour each way not too bad unless u had too many drinks. A few people got sick on the ride back and we had to pull over. But the staff at both resorts are amazing. I felt like there were more activities at the Moon Palace during the daytime though. Also the Spa at the Aventura palace is wonderful, well worth the money. If I had to choose which to go back to I would choose the Aventura palace for that reason alone.

I am not sure if you already know this but the Spa Palace and Aventura Palace are one giant hotel they are attached and you can walk from one to the other. We booked the Aventura Palace and when we got there found out our room was on the Spa Palace side (we ad no idea it looks the same). Well either decision you make you will have a wonderful time and the food at both are amazing, i think yo just have to decide how close to town you want to be.

I was looking at these places also. What do you mean the beaches aren't too great? Do you know if they have jacuzzis in room? Do they have oceanfront rooms?

Re: palace resorts

In all of the rooms in both hotels there are jacuzzi's in the room. When I said the beaches aren't great I meant that the beach at the Moon Palace reminded me of Jones Beach. Not clear water like other beaches in Mexico. At the aventura palace the water is somewhat clear and you can go snorkeling right on the shore but not at the Moon Palace. Maybe it was just the time of year I went. They kept telling me that when i stayed at the Moon Palace it was right after a storm so that was why the water was like that but I noticed that you never really see pictures of the water on the palace resorts website, they try to advertise the pool, which definitely makes up for the beach
