Palladium Ring????? Could it be

FH and I got a quote from the jeweler that made my e-ring and I almost fell off the chair. I want a simple channel band with round diamonds going down half the sides. I was told it would be $1700 since platinum is so highly priced now. I started looking online and saw that another metal is becoming more popular. It looks like platinum but the only difference is that its lighter and obviously less $$. Has anyone seen Palladium wedding bands or bought one as their band? Does it look like platinum?

Palladium Ring????? Could it be

I've never seen it in person, but from what I hear it's a gorgeous bright white (where as platinum is grayer) and very durable. If very little metal will be showing on the ring you won't have to worry about it matching the e-ring metal perfectly, if that's your concern. Good luck!

Palladium Ring????? Could it be

Thanks for your help. I tried on white gold rings and you can definitely tell its different next to my platinum e-ring. I guess its either i go with a platinum band to match and wear with my e-ring or just pick a different wedding band altogether to wear on its own. Back to the drawing board.
