i think the dress is pretty...it's interesting they added a sash to the dress. if you've tried it on and you love it, then i say go for it. the starting bid's only $56.99!! that's pretty amazing. however, the one thing i've learned about ebay is to not become too attached to an item before it's yours. usually what happens is someone will place a fairly high bid the last two minutes before the auction ends. i hate it when people do it...it's unfair and mean. but, it happens a lot. so be careful about bidding on ebay.

oh, i forgot to add...the dress is a size 8, so make sure it fits before you buy it. even if it's too big, you can usually alter it smaller, but it's much harder to make the dress a bigger size

i tried on this dress at lillette's - it's so pretty.
i don't get ebay. why is the starting bid so low? am i missing something? It's FH, not me, who is the ebay expert - posting all his toys to sell 40-Year Old Virgin style.... he SWEARS it's for wedding money but i don't know ....

Thank you so much I can't believe you found that! It's worth a try
Do you know what a size 8 in a wedding dress is equivalent to? I'm a size 2, I am worried it would have to be taken in to much and that would change the look of it.

Re: Paloma Blanca 3609
I am another Paloma Blanca bride (3659). I bought my dress from Burton's in Huntington Station. They came in $500 cheaper than everywhere else. Give them a call. They may be able to help you out!
I would be more than a little wary of the eBay dress... I don't think I could bring myself to buy it.
Also, what I'm finding is that the PB sizing is about one size larger than what you are in regular clothes (you said you are a 2, so you may measure as a 4). Definitely possible that they'd have to chop too much of the dress away to get it to fit and it could lose its shape. I'd find it new before you went to the scissors.
Good luck and definitely call Burton's!

Try RKBridal.com or Gownfind.com, both places have great prices.
RKBridal has a store in NYC and Gownfind's store is Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills.

I tried that dress on (3609) ... It's gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, I tried it on in NJ and I think the shop was a bit pricey. I'd shop around at maybe RK Bridal or Burton's- heard good things about price from both.

Re: Paloma Blanca 3609
ur dress is so beautiful & if the seller on ebay has reputable reviews i would go for it!!! My flower girl got her US angels dress more than half off...and while yes a flower girl is a far cry from a bride, the dress was in perfect condition with tags still attached and all...it was beautiful! Anyways, the only thing i would advise is talking with a seamstress....i'd bring her photos of the dress & ask her what she thinks about the size difference with the design of the dress...if they say it should be fine than totally go for it!!!! (oh, and dont bid untill the last day!) good luck!

Re: Paloma Blanca 3609
i'm a size 2 in regular clothes and i ordered a size 6 for my paloma blanca dress. a size 8 wouldn't be that much bigger.
